Survive the End of the World – 10k Run & Walk

Brief Description

Did you survive the Mayan calendar’s end of the world? Well if so, can you survive Keauhou’s End of the World? This is a 10k from Kahalu’u Beach Park to the End of the World in Keauhou. You start at the beach park and continue on paved roads on rolling terrain, including golf courses and amazing bays. You will dead end at the End of the World, a sacred Hawaiian war sight, and then come out of the famous pit and back to the beach where you can celebrate that you survived two End of the Worlds.

Big success and BioAstin had a big presence

lavaman keauhou 2012This weekends events where a big success and BioAstin had a big presence at two events on Oahu and the Big Island. The final race of the 2012 BioAstin Marathon Race Readiness Series was a huge success with over 1,500 athletes racing in the Half Marathon Event.

On the Big Island two of our BioAstin Ambasadors raced hard at the Lavaman Keahou Triathlon. Tim Marr fought hard to win his second title but fell just short taking 2nd overall to multiple Ironman Champion Chris Lieto. Sam Corce raced also fighting for a top spot took 5th Overall. The event was a great success with over 600 athletes racing from all over the US.

This coming weekend the I take BioAstin ambasadors will be racing at Multiple events in Hawaii. We have our very own BioAstin Marathon Readiness Series Half Marathon the final event of the 5 race series in build up to the Honolulu Marathon. We also have the Lavaman Keahau Olympic Distance Triathlon happening in Kona where Sam and Tim Marr will be racing. Tim will be attempting to defend his title after a dominating win in 2011. In the BioAstin Race Readiness Half Marathon we have Eric Glaus and a few others racing with the I take BioAstin flag.

We want to wish good luck to everyone racing over the coming weekend. Push your limits and have fun racing in the islands!
